Spirit Day

Cultural Meeting

Message from the Principal

undefinedWelcome to the Collegiate American School. We present you with a dynamic team of international educators whom embrace diversity and individuality in their students. Our classrooms offer experiential learning through grouping and differentiation to meet the needs of all of our learners.

A typical learning environment at Collegiate American would be heterogeneous groups of students learning the same objective in multiple different ways. They are conversing with one other and collaborating at any given moment. The infusion of technology through the use of iPads and laptops keep our students competitive with 21st century practices. Assessment keeps us abreast of each student’s learning, progress and attainment. It is important that we are able to extend or remediate our curriculum to support our students. We set goals and work as a team to attain those goals.

Learning happens outside the classroom as well with field trips that support our curriculum, events that celebrate global minded thinking and display our learning. Students are active participants in planning and executing their leadership.

Collegiate American is very proud to be a growing, inclusive school finalizing our self-study towards accreditation with the Council of International School (CIS) and New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC). We are also a candidate school hoping to offer the IB Diploma Programme in Fall 2016, which is recognized as one of the most distinctive college-preparatory programs worldwide in addition to the US Diploma.

The sense of community that is built at Collegiate American is sensed throughout our campus as students share and collaborate academically and socially. Over eighty countries represented in our student population gives us great life experiences to share and friendships to form.

Enjoy our website. We hope it offers just a glance of what our school is all about.
